Baker Babes Take Part in "A Christmas Story" Celebration
This past weekend Cleveland hosted the 25th anniversary celebration and convention of the holiday film favorite "A Christmas Story." Featured at the convention was a documentary film about the life of the movie's director Bob Clark. Baker Babes Bakery was asked to recreate the iconic Christmas Story Leg Lamp in the form of cookies which were presented to patrons of the screening. It was great fun making these sweet treats as it reminded us of Bob Clark's heartwarming classic Christmas tale. SWEET TREASURES IN THE MIST THE 16TH CREATIVE CONFECTIONS DESSERT COMPETITION
We are proud to announce that Baker Babes Bakery and Chef Barry Karrh were awarded second prize in both the Most Decadently Delicious and Most Artistic Desserts in the categories of cakes/tortes and plated/individual desserts, by 15 culinary judges from Northeast Ohio's top cooking schools.

Pistachio jaconde sponge with a passion fruit Lady Grey Tea custard and a papaya mousse served in a coulis of tropical fruits.
La Vida Dulce
Hot chocolate mousse infused with tropical spices, sweet fruits and tangy peppers, smooth hand-blended caramel and chantilly lace.
Our Mayan chocolate waterfall is all edible, down to the leaves and orchids.
Decision 2008 is coming to Baker Babes Bakery!

The Baker Babes are Taking Chagrin Falls by Storm!
The Baker Babes have extended their market presence by selling their sweet delights at the new Chagrin Falls Farmers Market. The Babes will be at the market on Main Street from 10 to 1 each Sunday morning through October. Come enjoy all that Chagrin Falls has to offer! From quaint old victorian homes to beautiful walkways along the river and falls. Chagrin Falls is a great setting for a Sunday morning treat and stroll.
